Today

Hey,
We've been trying to post everday but it's not that easy to get to a computer. Last night I tried at the hotel but the service was down. Right now we're at Mr. Okoth's brother's internet cafe. Today was out last day at Redrose until we go back for one day next week. It was really sad because a lot of the kids started crying as we were walking out the door and getting into the cars. We then walked through Kibera and back to Mr. Okoth's Mom's house. People have been taking tons of pictures and we'll be able to make a couple of CDs when we get home but we just can't post them right now because it takes a long time. Tomorrow we're going on safari which will be very exciting. Kibera is amazing but there's so much going on so the safari will be a nice break. We've all been having a great time together. We'll try and post again soon.

P.S. we're going to carnivore tonight

Carnivore's quite a different slice of Nairobi life from what you have been experiencing in Kibera; I hope you all had fun there! (I'm not as adventurous an eater, but I'm sure you all tasted some interesting stuff...)

Hey you Kenya guys!
Thanks for the amazing photos. We are all happy now. I don't know who looks happier, you or the RedRose kids (too adorable.) I am sorry that there were tears when you drove away. But, what's there not to love about all of you? Enjoy a fabulous dinner tonight and safari tommorow. Yippee! I am SO jealous. Caitlin, thanks for the great email. I can actually believe that you would kiss a giraffe given the opportunity. Now you know why you needed all of those shots! Hug a baby hippo for me. Keep in close touch. Love you bunches. Momo xoxo
PS
Jamma and I are fine. Ken, thanks for the photos. We were all getting a bit frustrated here in boring DC. That made our day ... week! You're the best! Ginger

Cate -
Great blog! The children look so delighted and happy. Please do not bring a pet giraffe home as if will not fit in the backyard!

Have fun on safari.

Love to love - Mittie

BTW - Opa loved the Canivore restaurant!

Thank you all for the flood of information...emails, Blog and fantastic photos!! How adorable are those giraffe photos! They seem unbelievably friendly...did you get to feed them? And those dear children...your visit with them will last a lifetime for you all. I imagine that blogging from safari will be a challenge...we will be patient on this end and wait for more photos or emails...how was Carnivore? A different type of menu...pretty exotic? Thinking of you all in the Land Rovers speeding through the plains...have a ball! Best to all...love to Allison...Stacey
