Jambo from North Carolina!

Mr. Goldberg (a former Potomac teacher of Caitlin and advisor of Dominique) is following the trip and very excited for all of you. He is also excited about Benjamin Aaron Goldberg, born one week ago :)

I actually hope to have some of you travelers serve as remote teachers for my world history students next year at the school where I'll be teaching in NC.

Have a great final few days and a safe flight back.

Your adventures bring back a lot of memories. I've always wanted to try one of those balloon rides - they say it's the best way to see animals because they don't hear you coming.

It's great to see the flamingos are at Nakuru - I'd heard there had been a big die-off so it's cool to see were a lot there for you.

I'd love to hear what other birds you guys have identified! Did you see any crested cranes (Ugandan national symbol) - they're amazing!

Anyone interested in trying a Mt. Kilimanjaro ascent next year?

So glad you were able to get a balloon ride! The pictures tell a wonderfuul story and we can't wait to hear of your adventure. Hard to believe the trip is winding down. We're sure Mombassa will be another great experience.

Looking forward to seeing you soon and to browsing the great pictures you'll bring back.

Be careful in London!
